The 1920’s began America’s diet obsession - Now almost 100 years later dieting and calorie counting are a persistent part of daily life. Women have been conditioned to fear their own bodies - fear gaining weight - a phenomenon which has created an underlying distrust to what nourishes and sustains them. As women we are taught to fear food.
